Benefits: An intern or volunteer for the Commission will gain valuable experience in research, communications and organizational skills. The intern will be involved in projects and programs addressing women’s issues around the state as well as involving women in making positive changes which affect them and their future. This experience will prepare the intern for leadership roles in the community and provide valuable work experience, practical learning and help in building a resume.

Qualifications: We expect the intern/volunteer to be dedicated to women’s issues, motivated, computer literate and a self starter.

Project Descriptions:
The intern/volunteer will assist the New Hampshire Commission on the Status of Women with various projects and the day–to-day operation of the office. Typically the Fall and Winter intern is involved with legislative work which may include hosting special events. Other assignments include: work on Commission publications, work on the website updating, updating Commission resources, materials, and providing referrals for women on several different issues.

Hours: Flexible hours and days.
