This bill removes the extended term of imprisonment for crimes substantially motivated by hostility toward the victim's religion, race, creed, sexual orientation, national origin, or sex.
The Committee hearing took place on January 27 in room 204 of the Legislative Office Building. On February 9, the committee recommended ITL. The House removed the bill from consent calendar on February 15.

This bill expands the state code of ethics to elected members of the executive branch. The bill also establishes an executive ethics commission to address ethics complaints involving public employees and public officials.
This bill was retained in Committee on May 24, 2005.
On March 17th the Senate voted Ought to Pass with Amendment. SB206 now moves to the House with a hearing on April 26th at 10:00 am in room 307 of the Legislative Office Building.
