The Division of Enforcement welcomed the Investi"GATOR" as their official mascot on March 21st, 2006. The Investi"GATOR" is used as a mechanism for the Division to have a soft contact with New Hampshire's youth and families. The Investi"GATOR" makes appearances at many events across the state where he can come in contact with New Hampshire families to help promote the Divisions message of "Make Good Choices" while also informing adults about our Buyers Beware campaign. The Buyers Beware campaign was kicked off in 2004 to help raise awareness that adults providing alcohol to a minor is a criminal offense in New Hampshire. The Investi"GATOR" is the main attraction of our annual Alcohol Awareness Poster Contest held every April as part of the Division efforts during Alcohol Awareness month. He regularly can be found at a variety of events from NH Fisher Cats games, National Night Out, local parades, many of New Hampshire's schools and many other youths orientated events.
If you have questions or you would like more information about how you can have the Investi"GATOR" make an appearance at your community outreach event, please call the Special Services Unit at (603) 271-8531 or email your invitations request to Special Services at cou@liquor.nh.gov.
