Liquor Outlet Training Seminar (L.O.T.S.)

Liquor Outlet Training Seminar (L.O.T.S.) was developed in 2003 as a comprehensive and interactive training program for the Liquor Commission's retail store employees. This course will familiarize store employees with liquor laws, commission policy, and civil liability. Topics covered include checking IDs, trends in false IDs, detecting visible signs of intoxication, recognizing questionable age, maintaining a safe store environment, and reducing theft.

All new hires must complete this training prior to operating a cash register at a Liquor and Wine outlet. This course must also be taken in-person every two years.

To take the online course, please visit our online training portal here: State of New Hampshire Online Learning.

To attend a live in-person class, please view the class schedule below. Reservations are required (Note: classes may be canceled due to a lack of sign-ups).
